This blend is at the mellow end of the taste spectrum in the MacBaren Mixture line. Danish Mixture Modern is a true aromatic blend mixing tangy Virginias with ready rubbed Burleys and MacBaren's Modern Cavendish. A hint of vanilla and fruit make for a sweet flavor and splendid room note.

Navy Flake
Navy Flake was developed in 1965. Selections of Burley, different qualities of Virginia tobacco, and a small measure of original Mac Baren Cavendish which gives Navy Flake its full body. The blend is left under pressure for at least 30 days. After the 30 days the pressed tobacco block is carefully cut into 1.4 mm thick slices – so-called flakes. The taste is slightly aromatic and full-bodied.

Virginia Flake is pressed with the finest flue-cured tobaccos, Mac Baren blends those tobaccos with a subtle topping to deepen the flavor, making for a sweet smoke.

Ambrosia
As the name suggests, Black Ambrosia contains a very high proportion of Modern Mac Baren Cavendish, with only a little loose cut bright Virginia added. This blend consists solely of Virginia tobaccos, which is rather rare as the majority of blends contain a little Burley tobacco.

composed of 100% bright Virginia tobaccos from 3 continents. All together the Virginia No. 1 contains 12 different Virginia leaf tobaccos, each with its very
own properties. In combination the different leaves marry together in a perfect and natural unity.
This is a Ready Rubbed tobacco which means that the tobaccos are pressed into big blocks of tobacco and then stored under pressure for weeks. Finally the blocks are cut into slices and partly rubbed
out.

Nuns
Three Nuns is an iconic pipe tobacco. The blend was first introduced in Glasgow, Scotland by J & F Bell over 100 years ago. Few tobaccos are marketed for more than 100 years. Three Nuns is one of them. A carefully selected Virginia leaf is the wrapper leaf of this spun tobacco. The spun rope contains tobaccos from 4 continents. The centre of each roll cake is a variety of Dark Fired Kentucky which adds a slight smoky note to the blend. This in combination with the natural sweet Virginia tobaccos guarantees a unique smoke.
