Otello Lorenzetti, the founder of our manufacture, was born in Castelnuovo, Recanati in 1911. In 1934, after having concluded his military service he decided start the manufacturing pipes iunder the company name "Otello Lorenzetti." Producing 20-30 pipes a day in his house. By 1947 Otello succeeded in building is own machinery in place of renting them. During the 60's and 70's the company's production, quality markedly improved and along with it, so did it's reputation. Sought after collectors world-wide. One of the most famous, the ex-president of the Republic Sandro Pertini.
Today the company is managed by Alessandro Lorenzetti the family last-born. Lorenzettti Pipe is run, now as before, by our family because we believe that art, care of details and passion are typical of small entreprises with great value.
